Purpose
The message of the gospel should propel all of us towards believing in its power and turning from our old lives, and to give us a desire to share it with others. These are two commands Jesus gives in the gospels. With the explosion of the internet over the last twenty-years, the ability to share the truth of God’s Word in terms of speed, the number of people reached and to areas where before would be nearly impossible. It is remarkable. There are over fifty countries where preaching the gospel is illegal. The Gospel Focus exists to:
- To continue to fulfill The Great Commission that was commanded by Jesus Christ; that is to preach the gospel to all nations.
- Engage a culture that is at war and becoming more accepting of worldviews(egocentrism, transhumanism, socialism, and marxism) that oppose Christian values.
- Show that the gospel is the answer to all of life’s questions, suffering and problems.
- Connect individuals with the Word of God through social networking and multimedia resources.
- Glorify God above all.
Vision
The vision of The Gospel Focus is to:
- Align with what scripture has to say about the future,where things are headed and to awaken those who are asleep.
- To be bold and continue to have freedom to openly share the gospel with people.
- Reach unbelievers in areas that ban Christian outward worship and who for reasons don’t want to be part of organized religion,but would like to know about the Bible and what the gospel is
- See the gospel proclaimed as an urgent need with quickness and impact; reaching high numbers of unbelievers.
- Create a safe environment where believers and non-believers can come together virtually.
- Be able to clearly see God’s leading and to have wisdom.
Mission
The mission of The Gospel Focus is to:
- Be a light pointing people towards the source of greatest
joy a person can have; Jesus Christ. - Be an example of God’s love in a world that is becoming increasingly full of hate and division.
- Be a source of truth during a time where there has been so much disinformation.
- Be a place to find and learn sound doctrine.
- Be a source of hope for a new heaven in the midst of so much suffering.
- Be a place to connect and fellowship with other people.
- Do God’s will in everything.
